Asian Bamboo
Asian Bamboo AG is a Germany-based company engaged in the cultivation of bamboo forest in China, as well as the sale of organic bamboo shoots and trees. The Company holds contracts for bamboo plantations in the Fujian province of China. Asia Bamboo AG concentrates its activities on two main business segments, bamboo trees, which are a renewable alternative to wood and serve customers from the construction, flooring, furniture and paper industries, and organically grown bamboo shoots, both fresh and processed, which are provided to restaurants, hotels and organic food retailers, mainly in Japan and China. It is also engaged in research in collaboration with a number of scientific and academic institutions to develop new cultivation and preservation techniques for Moso Bamboo. The operational business of Asian Bamboo Group is carried out by Fujian Xinrixian Group Co., Ltd. (Xinrixian), a limited liability company, and its subsidiaries1.
