Aleo Solar is the Germany-based parent company of Aleo Solar Group, operating in the photovoltaic sector. The Company is operational in one business segment, solar modules. It develops and manufactures solar modules using mono- and multicrystalline solar cells, for the German and international photovoltaic market, as well as it sells other equipment for solar modules (merchandise). It operates two productions facilities: in Prenzlau, Germany and in Santa Maria de Palautordera, Spain. The Company has five wholly owned subsidiaries, aleo solar Dritte Produktion GmbH, aleo solar Italia Srl, aleo solar Espana SL, aleo solar distribucion Espana SL and aleo solar Deutschland GmbH, under the aleo brand name1.

1. German technology giant Bosch has became the majority stakeholder in Aleo Solar AG in November 2009. Bosch secured 68.7 per cent of Aleo, which specialises in mono and polycrystalline solar cells.1
