AEA Technology
AEA Technology PLC is an energy, climate change and data management consultancy operating in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. The Company’s subsidiaries include Project Performance Corporation(PPC) and AEAT Holdings Ltd. It is a provider of advisory services to the United Kingdom Government and work with the European Union and major private sector organisations. In August 2008, AEA Technology PLC acquired Project Performance Corporation1.

2. AEA offers its customers technical, strategic and implementation services across the full spectrum of sustainable transport solutions. From research and policy advice on emissions and lower carbon vehicles/fuels across all modes, to targeting vehicle fleets with better management and better driving practices, through to encouraging behaviour change, managing the demand for travel and encouraging walking and cycling.2
3. AEA manages the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) on behalf of the UK Government. Through this work, they are responsible for providing Government with annual official estimates of emissions from all sources, including the transport sector.3
4. AEA worked with ShP Ltd in the UK to recycle our mobile phones and donated the proceeds to Child Line, thus ensuring that the resulting waste becomes another’s resource.4
5. They donated £38,300 (2008: £8,957) plus payments in kind for charitable purposes in 2009. They stress the policy of not making donations for political purposes.5
